Pavel Navocek presented and distributed to the participants the "Global Partnership for  Development" report, that is the result of the study Partnership for Sustainable Development  conducted under the auspices of the Millennium Project and the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, Palacky University, Olomouc, Czech Republic, and the Sustainable Development Index, developed by Pavel Novacek and Peter Mederly.
One feature of the Sustainable Development Index study that was highly appreciated by the participants is that it shows the indicator's countries scores representing them by different colors on the world map. Also, in plus of the agregated Sustainable Development Index, there were calculated Subindexes for 7 issue-areas: human rights, freedom and equality; demographic development and life expectancy; health situation and health care; education, technologies and information; economic development and foreign indeptedness; resource consumption; and environmental quality and environmental problems. The whole study is included in the CD-ROM of the "2002 State of the Future".

He further opened the discussion to see what would be the and next steps to take the report/project to organizations/forums that might be interested in sponsoring its implementation.

He also made some suggestions for the MillenniumProject:

2. publish one-study reports in plus of the comprehensive yearly "State of the Future"
3. review and update the 15 Global Challenege very throughly by eventually conducting a round of global interviews and/or global lookout study.
