Professional Activities
a) PRESENT POSITIONS
General Delegate of Futuribles International (since 1974) an
international pluridisciplinary and prospective study center dedicated
to analysing the medium and long-term geopolitical economic
technological ecological social and cultural trends and
challenges. Chief Editor of the newsletter "Vigie Info" (a
newsletter based on the early-warning Futuribles system).
Director of the Futuribles Press Agency and of the monthly Journal
"Futuribles" a review on facts, ideas and trends likely to shape
the future-.
International expert and consultant in futures studies and
strategic planning for numerous public organizations (be they
local regional national and international) end for French and
foreign firms. Director of Futuribles CEPS (Consulting and
research in futures studies for strategic purposes)

1968-1972 General secretary lor Societe d'Etudes et de
Documentation Economique Industrielle et Sociale.
S.E.D.E.I.S. (an institute of research on industrial
economic and social issues).

economic, social and cultural problems and on the concepts and
methods of futures studies, forecasting, planning, strategy and

Different teaching positions, in particular, at the Ecole des Hautes
Etudes Commerciales (HEC) (Higher School of Management), at the
Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA) (National School of Public
Administration), at the University of Paris VI (Jussieu) and
within several professional training organizations.
